Sammy is 4 months old! Whew!

In spite of me telling him to stop growing and to always be my baby, Sammy turned 4 months old on the 2nd. Where does the time go?!?! He is 15 pounds 3.5 ounces and 25 1/2" long, putting him in the 39th percentile for weight and 54th percentile for height. He started rolling over (tummy to back) and is cutting his first tooth! He is sweet as can be and we are loving his little personality. 

He belongs to Alex, for sure...

Home Sweet Home

At the end of June, we closed on our new home. We are loving the additional space, but moving and trying to get organized with two small children is no easy task. If you need our new address, just ask! And visitors are welcome any time - just excuse the mess and chaos :)

Jack moved into a "big boy" bed and he is doing great with the transition, but it is very hard for this mama to see her baby grow up so fast.

Father's Day 2016

Father's day was spent hanging outside with the boys, and spending some time together as a family. We are so very blessed!!

Summer Fun

This summer has been off to a busy and crazy start! It has been a blast watching our two boys grow and change. Here are some of the highlights so far:

In May, Alex had an eye procedure done to "re-shape" his eyeballs....ew! But he is doing well!

Sammy - 3 Months; Summer has begun!

Our littlest man, Sammy, is 3 months old! I've said it time and time again....these kiddos grow way too quickly! Sam is full of smiles, he is alert for a good portion of the day, and is a great sleeper at night. He has started going to daycare and although is not great with the bottle yet, he is adjusting ok. It's been rough on mom, but we will both get settled into our new routine soon. Jack continues to be a great big brother and has loved spending most of his days outside now that we have had some nice weather. We certainly are blessed with 2 amazing boys! 

Mother's Day

I had such a nice Mother's Day with my boys. We started the day at church, drove by the new house to check on the progress, lots of snuggling and playing outside in the sunshine, and the boys even napped at the same time so mom and dad could have some quality time together. The ended with Papa Murphy's pizza and TV in bed. Perfect day for me :)

Sammy also had his 2 month check-up at the doctor and here are his stats:

- 12 pounds, 14.5 oz (54%)

- 23 1/2" (59%)

- 40" head circumference (65%)

We have a good-sized boy on our hands :) 

Sammy - 2 Months

Not sure how this happened, but our little Sammy turned 2 months old today! Time goes too quickly. He is smiling and cooing at us, loves watching the lights and fans, and even hit up his first few weddings of the season already. We are working on taking a bottle to prepare for daycare, and mommy is enjoying her last few weeks snuggling at home.
