Jack's 1st time to the zoo!!

We went to visit cousin Lauren in Sioux Falls and hit up the Sioux Falls zoo while we were there. We even took a ride on the carousel!

We enjoyed our first Mother's Day and Father's Day with our little Jack Man. Nothing could be more special than being a parent, and he makes it pretty easy, too.

9 Months Old

Jack hit the 9 month mark. He loves eating and has sprouted 1 tooth so far, which helps a little bit  with that ;)  He is not quite crawling but he scoots backwards and in circles.  He loves going for walks, swinging, and has graduated from the infant tub to the big boy bath, which he enjoys. He is a happy little guy who jabbers and has started repeating sounds and faces we make. We could not love him more :) At his doctor's appointment this month, he weighed 19 lbs, 12 oz (52%), and is 29" long (75%)! It is official, he is all daddy with that height.

8 Months Old

Little man is 8 months old and growing and changing each day. He loves the swing at the park, is more and more vocal saying "DaDa" and "BaBa" (without any real meaning), and LOVES eating! 

This is the new sleeping position of choice :)

7 Months Old!!

Little Jack-Man turned 7 months old! Crazy how fast time is going. He loves chewing on everything, continues to love his jumper, and we have gotten in a few stroller rides this Spring. He slept through the night for the first time which was both scary and amazing for mommy.
He continues to challenge us and amaze us each day :)

Jack's Baptism

3-28-15 will be a special date for us. Jack was baptized into the Christian faith surrounded by family while our pastor friend, Adam, performed the ceremony. He behaved through the service and even tolerated the "holy bath" well; (the water was warm, so that helped)! Thank you to all who came to share this special day with us.

Jack turns 6 months; Mom & Dad go to Maui

Our little buddy is 6 months old! He weighs 17 lbs, 3 ounces and is 27" long. He loves to jump in the jumperoo, is warming up to tummy time, eating solids and puffs, and make "tooting" noises with his lips and tongue.

While Jack turned 6 months old, he spent the occasion with his Grandma Susie, Grandma Cathy & Grandpa Al, and Aunt Shaina & Uncle Daren while Mom & Dad took a trip to Maui with the crew from Northwestern Mutual. Although it was much less scary and stressful than the last trip, we had a few hiccups with the airlines which made for a sleepless night in an airport, arriving in Maui a full day late and home half a day late. Ultimately, we had a wonderful time in a beautiful place but we were ready to be home to our little man.
